Hi guys,
A very dummy question: when adding a new device on Common Services > Devices and credentials > Device Management I can edit device credentials, editing username, password and enable passaword. My question is: how CiscoWorks knows if it need to use telnet or SSH to try to loggin on that device? IS it possible to configure CIscoWorks to use only SSH when trying to comunicate with a device? Or does it try at first telnet and then SSH?
Tahnk you,
Regards!
Flaviano.

You can adjust the protocols used for configuration archive under RME > Admin > Config Mgmt > Transport Settings. Adjust them for all applications (e.g. Archive Mgmt, Netconfig ,etc.). You can also adjust the SWIM transport settings under RME > Admin > Software Mgmt > View/Edit Preferences.
You can make it so SSH is the only protocol used.
