Device Center and config archive

I go to device center and it shows Configuration Last Archived Time Aug 04 2007 07:16:13 EDT. I click on synch arcive and check the job and it says successful but device center never updated the date. I do in config management and check the device there and it shows last correct time. why device center doesn't update the correct time. I have seen this with several devices and only workaround i was able to find is delete/add the device. Please advise.

When you sync the archive from the device, what changes are in the configuration from what was previously in the archive? The config will only ever be re-written to disk if a relevant change has occurred. It sounds like Device Center is reporting the correct date (i.e. that the config last changed on August 4).
