Device not reachable using telnet from LMS

Hi,

I'm trying to add a device to the DCR. We can access it using telnet but when LMS 3.0.1 says it's not reachable.

If I launch a "Management Station to Device" it says telnet OK. If we launch "Check device credentials" it says "Device not reachable" using telnet and we have insert the credentials several times so it's impossible to insert them wrongly.

What can be happening?

Have you entered correct SNMP credentials for this device so that RME can properly manage it, and determine the correct device package to use?

The device did not haver configured SNMP. I thought devices could be managed also using telnet enable password.
