DFM devices are howing as "questionalbe"

I have noticed that in DFM, there are a total of 27 devices,

24 are questionable and 3 are known.

Since Questioned means that DFM could not communicate with the devices via either ICMP or SNMP and I

have Checked that the SNMP credentials are correct for the devices in DCR, and made sure the address by

which DFM knows the device is ICMP reachable from the DFM server, is this a discovery issue?

I have turned discovery off because I ran into issues on the switches with numberous VLANs causing the switches to have multiple entries.

Jclarke mentioned that onene a device is in a questioned state, it never polls it again.

Is there anything I can do to correct the status in DFM without using discovery?

Or, is it a better practice to use discovery, if other things are tied to it and fix the problems there?

Re: DFM devices are howing as "questionalbe"

You need to select the devices in DFM > Device Management > Rediscover/Delete, then perform a rediscovery. This is completely different from a Campus Manager discovery. Before doing this, make sure the CiscoWorks server can ping these devices.
