I try to use CNR for assignment of IP address to clients. I'd like to use option 82 - circuit ID and remote ID for IP address allocation - one IP address per one combination of circuit ID and remote ID. Is this possible??
I use the following expression in the client-class lookup ID field of DHCP server setting: (try (concat ((to-string (request option 82 1))(to-string (request option 82 2)))). This string I use for name of client-class. And I made reservation for IP address in the scope. Is this procedure correct? Thanks.
