I have LMS 3.2 Small Enterprise and I need to manage other devices by SNMP to control basic functions as it is alive ..... Is it possible to do it?

I assume you mean non-Cisco devices when you say other devices.  Yes, you can get some basic inventory data (mibII) from RME for non-Cisco devices, but that's all.  LMS is really geared toward managing Cisco devices.

The DCR supports non-cisco devices.

A customer has those devices in there with the cisco's and added some user defined fields to use it as a central depository for all their devices.

The addon application HUM supports non-cisco devices, and IPM can use these devices as targets.

I will certainly take a  look what RME does. I assumed the inventory and config download would simply fail. So maybe the first one can still do something usefull.

At my customer's LMS, a defined group, holding only the cisco devices, goes to RME and Campus and DFM.

I don't think Campus or DFM will do anything usefull with non cisco devices

Cheers,

Michel
