I'm getting the following error in Topology discrepancy report (with the same IP address) I tried to delete device from topo & CS but the error returned:
Type Devices with duplicate SysName
First found 2006/10/30 12:09:27
The following devices have the same SysName.
Note: If devices, running Cisco IOS,have the same SysName then only one of the devices will be discovered by Campus Manager.Delete the discovered device and perform another discovery after configuring unique SysName on devices.
The error is definitely a problem, but the context may be misleading. Becasue of hte way Campus works, the device with the duplicate sysName may be masked. What other devices in your network have the hostname css1-traffic?
