E-mail alert for a single switch failure in a Stack

Can we get an e-mail alert for a single switch failure or a stack cable failure in a 3750 stack.

We have already configred for the e-mail alerts for the switch failure and we are getting the e-mails.

How it should be done in LMS 3.1

As long as you have stackwise traps enabled on your stack, and you're sending traps the DFM server, you can accomplish this. To configure stackwise traps, use:

snmp-server enable traps stackwise

Within DFM, make sure any event sets you have configured include MajorAlarm, and you should get emails for events related to stack problems.
