Enabling Shadow Directory for Archive Management in RME

Hello:

I'm trying to enable shadow directory in RME > Admin > Config Mgmt > Archive Mgmt > Archive Settings. When I click apply, I get the following error:

Could not save new settings.

Cause: "ConfigMgmtServer" service is running.

Action: Stop "ConfigMgmtServer" service before applying the settings.

The problem is I don't show to stop this service. It's not under Windows Services and if I stop the CW daemon, I can't log into the web interface to checnge this function.

How do I go about doing this?

I'm running LMS 2.5.1, RME 4.0.4 on a Win 2003 server.

Re: Enabling Shadow Directory for Archive Management in RME

Perhaps this will help:

Stop the ConfigMgmtServer process. To do this follow this procedure:

Select Common Services > Server > Admin > Processes.

The Process Management dialog box appears.

Select the ConfigMgmtServer process.

Click Stop.

Select Resource Manager Essentials > Admin > Config Mgmt > Archive Mgmt.

The Archive Settings dialog box appears.

Select the Enable Shadow Directory check box.

Click Apply.

A message shows that the changes were made.

Restart the ConfigMgmtServer process. To do this follow this procedure:

Select Common Services > Server > Admin > Processes.

The Process Management dialog box appears.

Select the ConfigMgmtServer process.

Click Start.
