Error in DFM notification

Hi,

DFM refuses to send out email notification with the following error in the nos.log file:

We were having very inconsistent notification from Ciscoworks, i.e. some notifications got delayed randomly from 2 hrs to as long as 24 hours and confirmed it wasn't the mail server delay.

After the upgrade to lms dec 2005 update, it just got worse and now it's refusing to send out email notifications.

Scanning through past post, I've also tried the workaround suggested by CSCsc91394 but still doesn't work.
