When I go to RME, RME Harware Summary, and try and click on any category I get the following error Message.

1 Accepted Solution

Accepted Solutions

1. Post screenshot of the error on the page.

2. Go to RME --> Admin --> System Preferences --> Application Log Level Settings --> Application and enable the following debugs:

  • Enable debugs for RME Portlets
  • RME --> Reports ---> Report Generator --> Duplicate the problem here.
  • Get RMEPortlets.log from CSCOpx/log
  • Goto CSCOpx/MDC/tomcat/logs and get the logs.

3. Goto Common Services ---> Device Management ---> Device and Credentials ---> Select one of your device and view identity.

  • If it contains a hostname with space or fqdn, just modify it with ip address only and re-run reports. And then test it out again without domain in hostname.  And if the display name has any special characters, please remove it and re-run the reports.

Is this a new installation? If so, get the install logs from C:\Ciscoworks_install_xxxx.log as well. How long has this been occurring? Does the RME application function correctly at all?

Don't forget to disable debugs.
