error messge for device for Archive Mgmt in LMS

Check if protocol is supported by device and required device package is installed.

This is the action recommended, I don't understand? can someone help out?

This typically means RME does not yet support the device you are trying to manage. What type of device is this? What is its sysObjectID? what version of RME?
