Existing Prime 2.0 - How to order more LF-licenses?

I have the following question:

A customer has a new Prime 2.0 with 500 Lifecycle Licenses.

ATM he is fine with this amount of Devices covered with the LF-500.

But if he needs more devices (eg 1k in total) in the future HOW can he upgrade to this amount?

Is there anything similar to the (eg) 5508 WiFi Controller and his L-LIC5508-UPG license?

Thanks in advance.

Once you have the Base plus whatever number of initial lifecycle licenses, you simply add the desired number of additional licenses per the SKUs in table 1 of the ordering guide.

That will get you a new PAK which you redeem for a license file using the self service portal and providing the target system Universal Device identified (UDI or Vitrual UDI for VMs). Applying the resultant license file will increase the licensed number in the PI system.

OK

If I understand this correct i have to use

  • R-PI2X-K9

plus

  • L-PI2X-LF-xxx (amount of new wanted licenses)
  • CON-ESW (possible)
  • PASS (possible)
