Extraneous devices in Inventory

The inventory collection has picked up a number of interfaces from our core switches. However there is no way to delete these as they do not appear in the DCR or as RME Devices. How can these be cleared from the database?

Yes, this is possible.  Just set AAA Mode to Local, but leave the TACACS+ login module selected.

Is LMS integrated with ACS?

Yes - it is currently integrated with ACS v4.2

Re: Extraneous devices in Inventory

Chances are those phantom devices are not known to ACS.  To correct this, temporarily disable ACS integration, then login to LMS and clean up DCR.  Note: this may also help your alias problem you mentioned in the other thread.  When DCR looks the way you want, re-enable ACS integration.

Joe - is it possible to break the integration with ACS, but still have Ciscoworks user authentication through ACS?
