I use ftpd32.
It's a deamon for BOOTP/DHCP, SNTP, syslog, and a TFTP client and server.

I tried the Kiwi viewer since many folks raved about it here. I was underwhelmed. If one wants free, just use the syslog facility built into most *nix distributions. It's plain and simple - an ascii text file. but the only thing I saw Kiwi's tool doing better was making it appear in a pretty Windows GUI window tht you could sort by clicking instead of a plain old shell window that one would need to sort by scripting. but for bare basics, cat-ing and grep-ing and scripting against the ascii text works fine.
For a true full feature syslog utility, CiscoWorks' syslog tool is a very fine tool - but part of a $20k package.
