Help adding IP phone to SmartCare appliance

I have a customer site that I installed a SmartCare 2000 appliance.  I am able to discover all of the Cisco devices except for the IP Phones.  From what I read, when you run a discovery on the Call Manager it's supposed to pull the phones in from that.  However, it's working.  Does anyone know the best way to add the IP phones to the inventory?
