hi ,
i have two files in my router flash .i have deleted one of the file named r1-confg. by checking the show flash status i found the file is present and in bracket it is mentioned as deleted .
my question is what is the meaning of deleted here and how to remove the r1-confg file completely .
R1#show flash

1 788 r1-confg [deleted]
2 788 r1-startup.config

Did you try rebooting your router?

To claim the space
To reclaim the memory space of deleted files, enter the squeeze flash: command:
