Help with WRVS4400N Router

I just purchased the WRVS4400N Router and I am trying to set it up on the network.  We already have a DHCP server on the network and I wanted the router to only service the wireless users on the local lan.  Since I already have a dhcp server, I disabled the dhcp functionality on the router.  Doing this when the wireless clients connect, they are not receiving the dhcp address from our dhcp server.  I am wondering if it is required for me to set-up a VLAN to do this.  I need our wireless clients to get access to the LAN resources (server, printer, etc)
