How does RME 3.5 support configuration baselining?

I am slightly at a loss as to the exact support for config baselining in SNMS 1.5 + RME 3.5.

- Is it possible to define a template and compare active device configurations to that template?

- Is it possible to generate a template based on a current device configuration and compare that to every other device in the network?

- Is it possible to apply such a template to a new device and configure local options (interface, access lists) from there?

Note: I am using SNMS 1.5 and not LMS!

Thanks for the help!

You can do baseline template comparisons in RME 3.5 using the cwconfig CLI command. See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/ps2408/products_user_guide_chapter09186a00801d1ba8.html#wp1045539 for more details on using this feature. If you want to deploy changes based on a baseline, this requires RME 4.0.
