how to cache common addresses (think lmhosts) when using ip dns server ?

is there any way to cache common remote addresses locally on a router (something like lmhosts) when ip dns server is enabled with forwarders ?

my internal AD DNS sever is forwarding to the edge router DNS server which then forwards to the active/current/selected ISP

just thinking making a local cache may greatly improve response times (eg: when browsing) when the current/active ISP connection lattency is low while the throughput is more or less normal (which by the way is getting more the norm than the exception here)

any suggestions ?
