i wanna ask a question regarding automatic startup on lms 4.1, i have installed my LMS 4.1 on esxi 4.x . but recently my server sometimes down because the electricity problem. and when my friend push the power button to start the server, the LMS is not automatically active. is it possible to make it automatically active soon after my server power up ?
LMS should start up automatically by default, unless you had deliberately disabled the auto-startup, which doesn't sound like the case. Given the power issues, it's possible LMS has failed to start up automatically due to database corruption, so you might want to examine the pertinent LMS logs for indication of any process failures, such as in
/var/adm/CSCOpx/log/daemons.log (on Solaris and the LMS appliance) or NMSROOT\log\syslog.log (on Windows) files.
