How to stop User Tacking process?

Dear All

I use campus manager 4.0.4, The User Tacking always status = Running . And many end host found (1758400 end hosts) I think it wrong. How to stop and start user tacking by manual? How to debug the process ?

You should have a look at the ani.log and ut.log to see what messages are being logged.

You can try doing a pdterm of the ANI process, but you would be better to see why it is continually running.

and How to delete the database of user tracking for new discovery?

You can do the following to reinit the UT database only:

cd NMSROOT/CSCOpx/campus/bin

Solaris:

./reinitdb.pl -ut

Windows

perl reinitdb.pl -ut

How can i stop/start by use command line ?

You can use the command pdterm to stop and pdexec to start

pdshow will show the processes

These are all done from the CSCOpx/bin directory
