You have the latest version of the ASA package, so there shouldn't be a problem supporting these devices in RME.  what errors do you get performing a Sync Archive on these devices?

Hi,

Just for the knowledge, can you tell me how cisco works archieve configuration, means via http or tftp ?

Waiting for your reply.

thanks,

Samir

For the ASA, neither will be used.  Instead, RME will login to the ASA via either telnet or SSH (depending on the configured transport protocol order), and issue the show running command to collect the configuration output.

Hi ,

Thanks for your answer.

Right now we are using TACAS to login in to the ASA. That means we need single username and password to login via

Cisoworks. Am I correct ?

Waiting for your reply.

thanks,

Samir

Correct.  You must edit DCR under Common Services > Device and Credentials > Device Management, and add a username/password for your ASA devices.  RME should then be able to collect the config.
