HUM 1.1 - New Device Polling

Hello all,

with implementing HUM in our CW2000-Systems I discovered a problem with adding/deleting new discovered Devices (DCR).

It seems not to be possible to automatically add/delete devices from HUM-Polling, Threshold-Mgmt and Report-Mgmt.

Even if devices are added manually to HUM-Poller they won't be automatically added for Threshold- and Report-Mgmt having selected the "All-Devices" Checkbox for certain Report/Thresholds.

Are there any plan for automization these tasks depending on filter-criteria?

There was actually a bug filed for this, CSCsx47253. A CLI script will be provided to handle the removal of devices from HUM (coming in April).

As for adding filter support, this is currently not planned.

Hi Joe,

how can the support for filters and for autoupdate threshold/report mgmt when adding new devices to poller be pushed, as this seems to be a good help im maintaining and adminstering HUM?

These admin tasks seem to be always forgotten by DE when creating new tools.

Given that TAC has exhausted our approach, your best bet is a PERS with a business case behind it.
