HUM script

hi,

I've configured a threshold in HUM. I want to run a script when that threshold occurs. I needed the device name in my script so I used the "DeviceName" environmental variable key passe to the script.

The problem is that the DeviceName is not the name but the IP Address.

Is there a way to obtain the device name ?

No. Right now, the DeviceName environment variable is hardcoded to be the management IP address for DCR. However, if this IP is reverse resolvable, you could use nslookup, host, or dig to get the hostname.
