Hi,

I am trying to collect jitter information of cisco Routers which are added in Cisco LMS

I have configured collector icmp jitter for them but somehow no stats are visible in lms and its says in IPM that u have no jitter collectors configured.

Do i need to enable anything on the Router as well to export stats to LMS ?

Thanks

Hi,

can you share the screen shot of the collector that you have created ?

did you check  and find any IPSLA config on the device after configuring the IPSLA collector ?

Thanks-

Afroz

Hi,

Thanks for the reply .

I have configured icmp collector through GUI in cisco LMS

and for the router i have enable ip sla for icmp jitter

config of Router is :

ip sla 1

 frequency 50
ip sla reaction-configuration 1 react jitterAvg threshold-value 5 2 threshold-type immediate action-type trapOnly
ip sla schedule 1 life forever start-time now

snmp-server view default iso.1.2 included
snmp-server view default org.111 included
snmp-server view default internet included

snmp-server community efgh RW
snmp-server community public view default RO
snmp-server enable traps snmp authentication linkdown linkup coldstart warmstart
snmp-server host 192.128.10.20 abcd

Apart from this do i need to configure anything else on Router ?

Hi ,

No more configuration is needed.

first  define the Operations and then create the collector.

go to Internetwork Performance Monitor > Collector Management > Collectors.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_internetwork_performance_monitor/4-2/user/guide/IPM4_2ug/ipmopmg.html

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_internetwork_performance_monitor/4-2/user/guide/IPM4_2ug/ipmclmg.html

select your collector and click view  , share the screen shot for the same.

Thanks-

Afroz

Hi,

Pls see atached file , is there a problem with the responder detail marked as false ?

Hi,

for ICMP jitter operation ,configuring responder is not required.

Are you facing issue with only this device or all of them ?

what is the output of the below command on your device :

"show ip sla monitor application"
OR
"show ip sla application"

Is IPSLA is supported on this device ?

and " show license"

share the above outputs

Thanks-

Afroz

Hi,

Thanks for sharing it.. devices side it should not be a problem.

Is your devices managed properly , I mean inventory and configuruation backup >they are sucessfull.

If everything is fine then try to delete the existing  opeartion and collector and re-configure (operation >>collector).

Thanks-

Afroz
