Icons displayed in the GUI for different device types -

Some devices show w/ a router symbol, some show as a switch, I came across 2 today that are showing as a square symbol w/ SNMP displayed on the icon.

Why is this?

If they are displaying as a square with SNMP in them it usually means that it doesn't know what kind of device it is. This could be that its an unsupported device, wasn't discovered properly, or reported the wrong sysObjectID.

I would check the sysObjectID to make sure its supported and then try to discover it again if it is.
