ICserver.log is HUGE

Checking the disk usage on my LMS Windows host I see that this file consuming 37.8GB of space. What can I do to correct this? App level logging was set to Info for all apps in RME, so I changed it to "Warn" for ICServer hoping that would help. Then did a purge but the file seemed to get bigger by a few hundred MB in the meantime.

thanks!

Re: ICserver.log is HUGE

You can try the logrot (log rotation) utility to manage the size of the log files.  Search LMS help for this utility.

Thanks, this fixed it. I set it for 512MB but its at 0KB since yesterday. I guess this is OK.

Re: ICserver.log is HUGE

Hi,

I have the same issue, I try logrot which has worked, ICserver.log is empty, but several minutes later it goes huge.

Does your ICserver.log become huge an other time ?

Thanks, Elisabeth
