I am facing a problrm of IDS database file.
I have installed VMS 2.3 in my Sun Solaries. After VMS installed 4 IPS are add in my VMS management and monitoring center. After few month running well, I found that its slow and then stop event monotoring data. In connection stattus shows all IPS are shutting down.
When I check the log status then I found that /opt file system utilization 92 % where size limit 8 GB but used 18 GB.
I can not size limit becuse of 1 GB space available only. I read a cisco document where mention use the utility to compack the database.
so now what can I do ??
If I remove the database and install the CD Management /monitoring center of IPS then again rebuild the database ??.
or I can select the new path of the Database ??.
or any suggation ???.
