Importing devices into LMS 3.0

I am having problems importing many devices into LMS 3.0. I receive error messages "wrong file format" when I try to import form a CSV file. I've tried both v2.0 and v3.0 per Cisco documentation (User Guide for CiscoWorks Common Services).

Does anyone have a template that I can use?

You can get the template a couple of ways:

1) From the online help in LMS

-or-

2) Add one device manually, then export it to CSV file. This will give you the csv file you need to populate

It worked as you suggested.

Perhaps the file header or trailer used in the documentation did not have the correct syntax.

Pulling one device in, and using that as a template worked well.
