Importing software problem??

hi,

when i try to import the IOS (12.1) of a swith catalyst 3550 with RME 3.5 an error message appear :

"Image import operation not supported"

please any help.

This is a known issue for these devices in SWIM where Software Management: Image library import from device, network baselining, and synchronization features are not supported. The reason behind it is because when you download the image from it is compressed and in .tar format for Visual switch manager. On the device this is not the case.

I am seeing the same problem with all C3500xl and C3550 switches. It's a known bug ?

Me to I have this problem with cat3550 there no a solution for that ??
