Initial inventory on restricted view

I can't seem to do an initial inventory with RO snmp, on a customer router. I only want to watch one interface on the router but it wont do in initial. I am only able to poll v2 ifindex.

Do I have to have the customer open it all up so I can do in initial inv?

Are you referring to RME inventory collection? If so, then, yes, you must be allowed to poll the entire inventory from the device.
