installing QPM patches. Qos policy manager 3.2

I have a problem installing the QPM patches.

The system insists QPM 3.2 is not installed and exits.

Clues anyone?

The common services 2.2 is running fine, QPM installed like it should and also appears to work just fine.

Searching CCO did not provide any clues.

Cheers,

Michel

I just checked a server running QPM and one of the Services listed is: Cisco QoS Manager

I don't see that listed in your Services, which leads me to believe that there is something wrong with your QPM installation.

Thanks Nadim,

I do have these QMP services running

QMP Application server

QMP Collector

QMP PDP

But no Cisco QoS Manager. Not even a not started one.

Are you sure this service should always be running and is not something that comes with the patches?

Or a service that runs when devices are configured or verified?

Cheers,

Michel

What's the order you're trying to patch in? To get it to work properly, I had to install each patch sequentially from the base 3.2, to get to 3.2.3.

Hi Michael

QPM 3.2 is installed ontop of an common services 2.2.

When I try the 3.2.1 patch it says QPM 3.2 is not installed.

Patch 3.2.2 and 3.2.3 require 3.2.1 so.....

Cheers,

Michel
