Integrate ITEM in CiscoWorks

Hi there!

I'm a little bit confused about the way i could integrate ITEM into CW. Does anybody has an advise or a document how to install ITEM alongside an existing LMS installation. In the official installation procedure, it is stated that all existing CW installations has to be removed prior the ITEM installation.

That is correct. ITM requires a dedicated server.

It cannot be installed on the same server as any other CiscoWorks application.

Thank you for the reply. I ordered CWITEM-2.0-ADD-K9 and was sure that this would integrate into CiscoWorks. Can't find any document which describes how to "integrate" this in CW. Any suggestions?

All that can be done is to use the inventory from RME:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/itm/itm_20/userguid/usedevmg.htm

ITM has to be installed on a dedicated server.
