hi all, we have just installed a new SRW2016 for a customer and ran the integrated cable testing option throughout the network.
the results were surprising. only one of the links (direct uplink to the server) passed. all other ports going to the patchpanel indicated either "short cables" or "open cables".
we contacted the electrician who did the installation, and he said he tested the entire cabling with an RJ45 tester before handover and all were ok.
can we assume that there was some form innacuracy in the cisco testing option, or do we purchase a separate tester and check it for ourselves?
