Internet router as cisco 1841

Can someone help determine where I should see how much memory is installed on this router?

This is our internet router. The problem is when I entered an ACL into the router to permit acess through SSH to the outside interface of our Firewall, it is killing the router, the interface facing the Firewall is going offline? Can anybody tell me why this is so?

What do I need to to bring this router up to standard in order for it to be able to do a Perimeter router's job?

From the output you have 128 MB of RAM, and 32 MB of flash. There is much more to be known about what the problem you are facing. What is the traffic load on the router? You have a pretty old IOS on the router, and upgrading it just might just do the trick.
