IOS upgrade issue with LMS

Good afternoon

I am hoping someone can shed some light on the following issue. My customer is currently trying to do a bulk IOS upgrade on all switches within his network using LMS. The infrastructure consists of 3550's and a few 3560's. All appears to be fine with the exception of one of the 3550's.

The following error message is generated:

SWIM 1162: Error when recommending image for the device.

The current version of code on this 3550 is 12.1(12c)EA1.

I have tried my luck with CCO, and the error message decoder, but I have not managed to find any info on this image, and why it is only failing on this one switch.

Does anyone have any ideas on a) what the message means, and b) how to resolve the issue?

We have seen some issues trying to get CCO recommendations for 12.1 images due to a lack of embedded feature set information. Try going to RME > Admin > Software Mgmt > View/Edit Preferences, and unchecking Include Cisco.com images for image recommendation. See if that gets you passed this error.
