Solved: IP SLA MIB

Hi,

According to Cisco online documentation the MIB for IP SLA is RTTMON-MIB and the IOS config is:

snmp-server enable traps rtr

Unfor, the 7201 I'm working with only has the following IPSLA trap config option

snmp-server enable traps ipsla

Does the MIB still work? I can't seem to find anything in regards to this new command.

Yes. The name has been changed quite a few times since its inception. First, the feature was called "Response Time Reporter" (rtr). Then, it was changed to "Service Assurance Agent" (SAA). Now it's called "IP Service Level Agreement" (IP SLA).

Enabling ipsla traps will enable the traps documented in the CISCO-RTTMON-MIB. On older versions of IOS, the command would be "snmp-server enable traps rtr".
