I am having problems trying to install/configure Sybase Backup/Restore Tool for Ip solution Center 4.2.
When I install the tool there are a few questions regarding the Database, SLA, Transactions logs directory name that are not specified in the Readme file or installation guide.
Then when I try to configure the tool using the asa_configs.sh file the following error is displayed:
bash-2.03# ./asa_configs.sh
Starting backup Configuration for Main ISC database
ERROR: Looks like During installation the SYBASE installation
directory name given wrong
Please reinstall the software
Starting backup Configuration for SLA database
ERROR: Looks like During installation the SYBASE installation
directory name given wrong
Please reinstall the software
What would it be this directory name? Is it "Repository"?

Most of the ISC -related data items are stored in a repository held on a relational database and the rest are stored in an operating system level file system. The repository are main repository, SLA repository and other.

Hi..
I think u need to source the correct environment.
e.g.,
. /opt/isc-4.2/bin/vpnenv.sh
I encountered this problem today, and after sourcing the right environment, it works fine
