issue is with SNMP V3

Hi ,

I have configured below SNMP v3 commands in cisco Router 7206VXR (NPE-G1) . I have tested with all option but it is not working . SNMP server is a SNMPc tool and I have configured user name and piv and auth credential correctly in both side . Same configurations is working for all cisco switeches but not working for Cisco Router.

Can any one please help me on this .

SNMP V3 configurations:

access-list 20 permit 43.194.10.0 0.0.0.255

The configuration looks good.

Just check if the snmp v2c works fine on your device to NMS. it will be good to check if the snmp is responding on device and no ACL issues.

Eg:

snmp-server community xxxxxx RO 20

I have checked with access list 20 and SNMPv2c is working .

I copied your config to my device and it is working perfectly fine.

But, unfortunately my device does not support priv mode of DES56. I would request you to try another priv mode as well like DES.

Please check when you try to do snmpwalk on you device using NMS does the input packet increase? You can check that on show snmp.

Try to do a snmpwalk from any other NMS if possible,as it is mostly not on the config side.
