ITM valid SNMP string characters

Im trynig to add a device into the ITM inventory. ITM keps rejecting it saying invalid string. The string has a # sign in it, is this the cause? Is there a list of invalid characters we should not use in snmp strings somewhere?

Yes you are right. You are not supposed to use # in the SNMP strings. Try using normal characters and it should work. Some of the other special characters will also not work. Like @,!, and &
