Linux/Windows scripts to run on multiple Network devices to execute commands

Can anybody help me to share with me the script which we can use for setting local usernames and passwords as well as setting enable password for a Major Network (1000 Router&Switches).

Please also tell me how to run the script and the software which can run it.

It would help me to automate the things instead of doing manually on all the devices.

I would appreciate if anyone can help me immediately on this.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Sincerely,

Prateek

As you know with great power comes even greater responsibility.

Also with a script for 1000 devices.

Check out the ssh, or if you need to rshell, options for remote commands execution, and snmp for configuration changes.

With a little help of perl you will be on your way as you want it.

Did I mentioned it's free , It only takes you a few hours you figure it out, but it gives you many days back !
