LMS 2.1 & CWLMS_System_State.bkf file

We're running the LMS 2.1 and noticed a file, called "CWLMS_System_State.bkf", in the System State folder that is increasing in size (25 GB), eventually hugging all the space on the drive.

I scoured the Cisco web site for any info on this file, but to no avail. Does anybody happen to know what that file is?

thanks.

What do you mean by "System State" folder?

Where is that located exactly?

Are you running this on Windows or Solaris?

The "System State" folder is off of the root drive. We are running it on Windows platform..Thanks...

This is not created by CiscoWorks. Usually file with extension of .bfk are backup files, so chances are that these are backups of the CiscoWorks.

Hi all,

Nadim is 100% right. The .bkf is the standard extension for the since Win95 included Windows backup program.

So i assume someone mad a full system backup with the windows backup software!

Hope that helps,

Frank
