LMS 2.5 (Solaris) services/processes/file -IMPORTANT

How do i monitor the service/process/file in Ciscoworks LMS 2.5 in Solaris to monitor the application is running?

I know we can monitor from the web/GUI interface and check the process status.

Can we monitor it without going to the web gui?

Thanks.

Re: LMS 2.5 (Solaris) services/processes/file -IMPORTANT

if you just want to see the prcess status from cli, enter the following command:

pdshow | more

if the path is not set correctly enter /opt/CSCOpx/bin/pdshow | more

(I never checked if the listed PID for each process is one you can also get with the solaris ps command.)

you can start/ stop any of the processes with pdexec / pdterm

beside this there are some base processes from LMS you can get with ps - mainly cwjava processes.
