Im using baseline templates to funnily enough baseline the templates for network devices in my network. What makes this tiresome is the device specific information such as hostname/snmp-server community strings/tacacs key/local passwords. Is there a way within baseline templates that you can use variables (it checks whats in the dcr for example) against whats in the config ?
Failing that, whats the best way to ensure a standard template is applied to all devices taking into consideration different hostnames/SNMP strings etc ?
Basically, anything you find inside  are said to be parameters that can be filled in at the time of deployment. If deploying through the GUI, you will have a chance to fill in this data for your devices. For example, say you have the following in your template:
