LMS 2.6 Bundled, Ciscoview 6.1.5 cannot view ESR 10008 router

I installed the LMS 2.6 Bundled with Ciscoview 6.1.5 and the device update package Rtr10000.cv50.v10-0.zip but couldn't see the ESR router 10008 with IOS version c10k3-p11-mz.122-31.SB8.bin. The package Rtr10000.cv50.v10-0.zip already installed in the Ciscoview package but I couldn't view the chassis.

Pls help me to resolve this.

Thanks & regards,

Brian

After installing the device package and when you can login again, check the activity log to see if it was successful;

Common Services > Software Center > Activity Log > Event Log

is the device package listed under

Common Services > Software Center > Device Update (click the CiscoView link, and search for the device type)?

If yes check if the file for Rtr10000 in both path are identical:

NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/CVng/WEB-INF/classes/com/cisco/nm/cvw/devpkgsand

NMSROOT/www/classpath/com/cisco/nm/xms/psu/pkgs/cvw

The event log was ok, the package installed successfully. The file Rtr10000 existed in the 2 folders.

I tried with an existing Ciscoworks system (LMS2.5) that already had the Rtr10000 package (version 2) but the result was the same. After that I installed the new Rtr10000 device package (version 10) but the chassis couldn't be displayed.

Any suggestion for this case?

Thanks & regards,

Brian

have you verified the file SIZE in both directories (it should be 2,521,258);

what is the sysObjectID of the device.
