LMS 2.6: Change the Domain membership

I have the need to change the Domain membership of an existing ciscoworks server from e.g. 'Domain A' to 'Domain B'.

Will there be any ill effect to the ciscoworks application once the server is joined to the new domain?... if so how can the be overcome?

Server info:

Windows 2003 server r2 sp1

LMS 2.6

-CiscoWorks Common Services 3.0.6

-Resource manager Essentials 4.0.6

-Campus Manager 4.0.6

-CiscoView 6.1.5

-Device Fault Manager 2.0.7

-Internetwork Performance Monitor 2.6.0

-No ACS integration

Re: LMS 2.6: Change the Domain membership

There shouldn't be. LMS doesn't really care about Windows domains. This, of course, assumes the casuser user and casusers group were created on the local machine, and you are not using domain accounts. If you are, then moving domains will not work as the SIDs will be different. In this case, you would need to do a reinstall of LMS. It is recommended that casuser always be a local account.
