LMS 2.6 IOS and Config Storage Location

Is anyone able to tell me in what directory are my IOS images and configurations stored on an LMS server? Thanks.

Re: LMS 2.6 IOS and Config Storage Location

On Solaris:

SW images are in:

/var/adm/CSCOpx/files/rme/repository/swim/

Configs are in:

/var/adm/CSCOpx/files/rme/dcma/devfiles/

as well as:

/var/adm/CSCOpx/files/rme/dcma/shadow/

if "shadow directory" is enabled.

Re: LMS 2.6 IOS and Config Storage Location

Thanks those directories work for windows as well. One last question.....can anyone tell me what LMS does with devices that no longer exist in the network?

Does it purge it at some point or do I have to delete it manually? Thanks

Re: LMS 2.6 IOS and Config Storage Location

LMS will never purge any device automatically. So if you have devices that no longer exists in your networks you will still have information about their configs and faults - along with some errors that these devices are no longer reachable for some scheduled tasks (like discovery, data collection, inventory collection etc )

You have to delete them manually which will delete alle device related information from the databases as well.
