LMS 2.6 new server

Hi Guys

We have LMS 2.6 installed on a dell server. We are buying some new HP servers for LMS 4.0.

My question is this:

1) Can we install 2.6 on the old license on the HP server and upgrade to LMS 4.0 using a upgrade license? (The dell server will be decommisioned)

2) We have lost/misplaced the box and details of the 2.6 install but the license files are still on the dell server can I just use the files again?

I think so. The license is not tied to host-specific attributes. In fact, the license(s) get restored by the restorebackup.pl script.
