LMS 2.6, Product XXX is not registered with PSU.

CM, CS and DFM are not registered into PSU, so I'm not able to use Device & Software update.

Using CLI:

D:\psu_download>psucli -p cmf -install -src d:\psu_download Mdf

Error : Product cmf is not registered with PSU.

Valid and registered products:

rme ( Resource Manager Essentials )

How can I register a product?

Now, I'm trying to modify tag.properties file.

Thanks.

Andrea.

The products are The applications should be registered at install time. The tag.properties file should contain each application's short name and long name mapping, and that file would need to be edited for PSU to know what applications are installed. However, this is not something that should need to be done manually.

For a full LMS installation, tag.properties should look like:

cmf:CiscoWorks Common Services

cvw:CiscoView

nmim:Integration Utility

rme:Resource Manager Essentials

cm:Campus Manager

dfm:Device Fault Manager

ipm:Internetwork Performance Monitor

Once modified, dmgtd will need to be restarted. Additionally, you will need to make sure all of the .info files are in tact under NMSROOT/setup as PSU uses them as well.

Thanks.

I have installed CS, RME, CM and DFM and my tag file contains only the rme entry, so I have added all other applications.

Tomorrow I'll do a check for the .info files.

Thanks a lot.

Andrea.
